Req 13599 Manufacturing Operator (Dehydration Operator) - 3rd Shift

Machine Operator - Plant City - 33563

Pay Rate = $20.00-$22.00/hr

Shift: M-F, 10:00pm-6:30am - Weekly Pay

*Candidates that reside in Plant City or Lakeland are preferred

*Tobacco Free environment

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area.

Follow oral and or written work instructions.

Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work.

Verify and feed raw materials into the production process.

Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards.

Check yields and investigate discrepancies.

Maintain accurate production records.

Monitor machinery for malfunctions.

Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues.

Report food safety problems.

Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures,

General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.

Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.

Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.

Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions.

Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur.

Possible exposure to nut allergens.

Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
