Aerotek is hiring General Labor/Warehouse Workers

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled general laborer to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be installing metal fences on a robotics floor to enhance safety procedures. This position involves heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, and requires comfort working in a loud and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Install and assemble metal frames and gating on the robotics floor using power tools.

Drill into concrete and ensure the proper installation of safety fences.

Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Use various tools including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, rulers, hammers, and torque wrenches.

Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, pulling, pushing, and using hand tools.

Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.

Mechanical inclination and proficiency with tools.

Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Capability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

Physical strength to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in general labor, construction, production, and carpentry.

Punctuality, reliability, and a safety-conscious mindset.

Team player with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment

The position is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that can be loud and chaotic. The shifts are Monday through Friday, with potential work on Saturdays. The first shift runs from 4:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Flexibility in shift times may be required.

This is a Contract position based out of Edison, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
