Funding Assistant - Indirect Lending

Pay: $21-22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Fully On-Site

A detail-driven Funding Assistant is needed to support an Indirect Lending team handling auto (85%), motorcycle, and RV loan processing. This administrative role plays a key part in ensuring loan packages are accurate, complete, and ready for funding. You'll collaborate closely with internal underwriting and funding teams-no direct dealership communication required.

? Key Job Responsibilities

Manage incoming Outlook email flow and work heavily in Excel to organize and track loan documentation.

Communicate regularly with internal funding and underwriting teams to keep loan files moving efficiently.

Review, verify, and audit loan documents (income verification, financial assignments, application accuracy, etc.) to ensure accuracy and mitigate fraud risk.

Transfer all supporting documentation-insurance verification, purchase orders, applications, disclosures, and more-into the Loan Application System with precision.

This is a Contract position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
