We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to cover a maternity leave. What You Will Be Doing

Process 50 to 100 invoices per week with accuracy and efficiency

Perform invoice matching including purchase orders and receiving documentation

Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors as needed

Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments

Maintain clean and organized accounts payable records

Support month-end close activities related to AP

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

What We Are Looking For

At least three years of hands-on accounts payable experience

Ability to independently manage the full AP process

Experience with invoice processing and three-way matching

Prior exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or transportation environments preferred

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

Professional communication skills and problem-solving mindset

Work Environment

Fully on-site in North Haven, CT

Office setting attached to a warehouse

Monday through Friday, first shift, 40 hours per week

One-round, on-site interview process

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
