About this Job
Division : The Total Quality Management Department at the Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System in Jackson, LA.
The mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs provided include inpatient acute interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric services are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana.
ELMHS is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, positive individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills to join our team as Administrative Coordinator 4 (Librarian) WAE-LDH.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Assist in updating and maintaining agency policies and procedures, and department manuals
Assists in processing order requests for library materials. Searches library catalog for duplication of holdings and standard print/online sources for availability.
Performs basic information verification tasks, using a variety of sources such as databases, indexes, catalogs, etc.
Participate in education trainings that are mandatory for accreditation and licensure of the facility.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: WAE part time position (not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period).
Compensation: This position has WAE pay of: $24.46 hourly.
