Reach Truck Driver - Glendale Heights, IL

8AM-4:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

$20/hr

Job Description

As a Reach Truck Driver, you will be responsible for taking order sheets, selecting the most efficient forklift for the task, locating products within the warehouse, picking and packing these products, and completing necessary paperwork. This role involves physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly to build pallets.

Responsibilities

Take order sheets and determine the most efficient forklift for the job.

Locate and pick products from the warehouse.

Pack products and fill out necessary paperwork.

Build pallets by lifting items up to 40 lbs repeatedly.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with forklifts, including reach trucks and cherry pickers.

Order picking and pallet building skills.

Approximately 6 months of reach truck experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Computer literacy.

High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, well-lit, and well-organized, allowing for efficient operation of forklifts in a spacious warehouse. The facility includes 10-12 docks for truck deliveries and pick-ups. The team of six employees works well together, supporting a culture of teamwork and high standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
