JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Possesses a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree with a major in physical or biological sciences, and posses a CMD (certification in medical dosimetry). Together with either of these credentials, the applicant also demonstrates completion of two or more years of work experience in medical dosimetry.

Experience

Sufficient knowledge of different phases of radiation therapy including Dosimetry.

Physical

Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Operates high energy accelerator, ionizing radiation, and computer. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for purpose of radiation therapy treatment Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff.
