Summary You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative in the Electronics Acquisition & Sensors Branch in the USW Systems Engineering Division of the Undersea Systems & Sustainment Engineering Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level. This position is not a high grade, therefore salary may be capped at the GS-13 Step 10 rate. Responsibilities You will assist in the technical monitoring and administration of tasks awarded against multi-million dollar engineering and technical support service contracts. You will provide proper and appropriate oversight of Contractor performance and contract execution to ensure financial and technical compliance with the contract terms and conditions. You will document contractor performance on an annual basis, at a minimum, and submit an annual assessment in the Contractor Performance Assessment System (CPARS) as required. You will be required to provide routine/ad hoc status reports on contractor performance, financial execution, and contract execution to stakeholders, and make influential recommendations to stakeholders on complex contract development and management. You will plan, lead, coordinate and complete the necessary actions for follow-on contract vehicles to prevent a lapse in contractor support/services. You will collaborate with Customer Advocates, Technical Project Managers and department line managers regarding contract requirements, opportunities, and goals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NT-4 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing contracts, interacting with private contractors, and analyzing proposals to support engineering and technical service contracts.
