As a Security Officer Industrial Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Melbourne, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver customer-focused service, clear communication, and strong teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Monitor access points by observing inbound and outbound vehicle and foot traffic, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and supporting on-site response as directed.

Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate notable conditions to site leadership, and assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
