This position supports the hub of activities in the Family Health Education Department, encompassing the following:

Serves as primary source of information for Family Health Education programs

Registers class attendees, sends class confirmations, and other registration correspondence

Database management for membership programs, including systems and registration troubleshooting

Schedules classrooms for virtual and in-person programs and meetings

Provides AV and room set-up support for all events and meetings taking place in the center or online

Maintains mailing lists for specific populations

Collects, compiles, and summarizes department statistics including:

Number of classes, support groups, public speaking engagements, and attendees

Number of other phone calls and subject matter

Evaluations for each class and compilation of reports

Registrant, payment, receipts, and other financial data as needed

Processes a wide variety of educational materials

Provides program support to educators, contracted instructors, education specialists, department supervisor and manager as needed

Education:

One or more years of technical college, an associate degree, or a high school diploma plus 1-3 years of commensurate experience

Experience:

Experience as an administrative assistant, business assistant, or an assistant for an academic institution

Experience utilizing and creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Comfort with technology/computers

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks/projects at one time
