Role summary:
This role enhances Walmart's SecOps and OneLab capabilities by delivering secure, resilient, and highly scalable infrastructure & data-storage-centric infrastructure that supports detection, response, forensics, and investigative services. The position focuses on the architecture and operation of hardened enterprise storage platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and alignment with established security frameworks. Success requires strong leadership experience, including the ability to influence without authority, demonstrate strong ownership and accountability, clearly communicate complex security and infrastructure risks, align cross-functional stakeholders, and make sound, risk-informed decisions under pressure.
About the team:
This specialized team manages and secures dedicated networks and platforms supporting Information Security Operations, development, and forensic labs across multiple sites. They ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of technical environments to enable threat detection, incident response, vulnerability analysis, and digital forensics. The team designs and maintains secure network segments and isolated environments, supporting sensitive investigations and advanced security research. Collaborating with leadership, security operations, development, and forensic specialists, they provide essential platforms and infrastructure that underpin effective and timely security operations, safeguarding the organization from cyber threats and supporting critical activities.
What you'll do:
Design, develop, and support scalable, secure storage & infrastructure solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
Lead strategics and develop proposals for storage strategies
Maintain storage solutions lifecycles and enhance TCO analysis and reporting
Ensure storage solutions meet or exceed BCDR requirements
Analyze system performance and requirements to ensure reliability, efficiency, and security.
Implement & maintain automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Conduct assessments and compliance reviews to uphold security standards & frameworks.
Manage configuration processes, ensuring accurate documentation and minimal disruptions.
Plan & execute infrastructure maintenance, capacity management, and disaster recovery strategies.
Monitor security systems, audit logs, and resolve data / infrastructure-related issues.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in storage and infrastructure design, including software architecture, distributed systems, and scalability principles.
Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and methodologies such as Risk Management Framework and System Security Plans.
Experience with automation tools, scripting languages, and configuration management to enhance operational efficiency.
Proficiency in vulnerability management, hardware troubleshooting, and infrastructure security best practices.
Ability to analyze system performance for reliability, operability, and security compliance.
Skilled in capacity management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with Storage Area Network (SAN) and storage device management.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
