HR Generalist/Executive Assistant

The HR Generalist & Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the organizations daytoday human resources operations while ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training administration, and required compliance filings. The position also supports workplace safety initiatives, maintains adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS), ensures the integrity of HR systems and records, and provides executivelevel administrative support to the CEO as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Support

Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HRrelated issues.

Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary matters, coaching, and investigations.

Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality and audit readiness.

Support conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.

Recruiting, Hiring & Onboarding

Manage fullcycle recruitment and coordinate job postings with department heads.

Administer onboarding, orientation, benefits enrollment, and track eligibility milestones.

Complete I9 verification and EVerify tasks as deemed necessary

Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration

Partner with Finance for payroll accuracy and updates.

Track PTO, leave status, and ensure accurate HRIS/PEO data.

Manage benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment.

Support implementation of HRIS upgrades and maintain data integrity.

Training, Development & Compliance

Administer mandatory annual compliance training and track records.

Support additional training tracking, skills-gap monitoring, and development initiatives.

Maintain and update employee handbook; coordinate employee acknowledgments.

Performance Management

Administer performance review cycles and ensure documentation accuracy.

Assist supervisors with coaching documentation and improvement plans.

Employee Engagement Responsibilities

Develop and manage employee engagement programs to strengthen culture and retention.

Conduct engagement surveys and feedback collection; present findings.

Partner with executive leadership team to develop action plans.

Support communication initiatives promoting recognition and transparency.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent; 35+ years HR generalist/compliance experience.

Strong understanding of employment practices, payroll coordination, and compliance.

SHRMCP or PHR preferred.

Strong communication, confidentiality, organization, and problemsolving skills.
