Adjunct Job Announcement

Position: English Adjunct Instructor

Location: All Campuses

Department: Division of General Education, Online Learning, & Dual Enrollment

Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree with 18 semester hours in English. A master's degree and / or graduate hours in teaching or education does not meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements.

Strong communication skills and work ethic.

Willingness to teach at Athens College & Career Academy.

Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face-to-face, online, audio / video, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
