Core Responsibilities
Advanced Process Development
Lead design, development, and optimization of sophisticated manufacturing processes
Drive parameter optimization, material selection, and system design to exceed functional requirements
Conduct feasibility studies using theoretical simulations and practical engineering methodologies
Enable innovative device architectures that define next-generation semiconductor capabilities
Strategic Technology Leadership
Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for future manufacturing processes
Identify and pursue opportunities to advance Intel's process capabilities
Conduct pathfinding activities aligned with industry trends and customer requirements
Integrate emerging technologies into Intel's manufacturing ecosystem
Manufacturing Excellence
Implement equipment modifications to enhance production efficiency and reduce defects
Drive complex problem-solving initiatives for defect reduction and yield improvement
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers on critical enabling technologies
Ensure seamless integration across etch, deposition, CMP, and lithography modules
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay current with industrial trends and breakthrough technologies
Apply disciplined execution and data-driven problem-solving methods
Lead root-cause analysis using structured approaches and advanced analytics
Drive solutions from concept through factory implementation

Qualifications:
The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or in a STEM related field
7+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, process development, or technology development experience
1+ years of experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process control
2+ years of experience in root-cause analysis capabilities using structured problem-solving and data analytics.
2+ years of experience with module integration and interactions across semiconductor processes including; etch, deposition, CMP, or lithography.
Experience in process optimization, defect reduction, and manufacturing improvements
Hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing processes (e.g. etching, material science, and/or equipment metrology)
Preferred Qualifications
Post Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or in a STEM related field
Experience with cutting-edge technology nodes (sub-10nm logic or leading-edge foundry nodes)
Proven track record collaborating with equipment and materials suppliers
Cross-functional leadership experience leading task forces for yield improvements and technology ramp
History of mentoring junior engineers and serving as technical focal point
Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive initiatives from concept to factory deployment

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $155,520.00-298,440.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
