Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing all functions related to the warehouse, including daily operations and managing a team of five direct employees. This role acts as a liaison between the warehouse and various departments to ensure efficiency in shipments and the transfer of goods, materials, and services. The position involves 80% of the time working with the ERP system and the sales team to coordinate shipments of goods for both domestic and international orders, while the remaining 20% focuses on managing team efficiencies and implementing best practices within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct warehouse operations and staff.

Act as a liaison between warehouse and other departments to optimize shipment and transfer processes.

Coordinate international and domestic orders using the ERP system and shipping software.

Manage and supervise a team of five, including warehouse associates and a senior receiving/shipping coordinator.

Implement best practices for warehouse management and team efficiencies.

Engage in hands-on tasks such as cycle counting and operating forklifts as needed.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in warehouse management and supervision within a manufacturing or production setting.

Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems.

Experience in international and nationwide shipping.

Ability to lift 35 pounds.

Fluency in speaking and reading Spanish.

Capability to operate and train others on forklift operations.

Hands-on leadership style.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with the internal ERP system 'IFS'.

Experience in supervisory roles, potentially as a lead with extensive experience.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious 45,000 square foot facility. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
