Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Hanover Park, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position (possibility for hire in the future) that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the smooth handling of warehouse operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to lift and manage materials consistently, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload freight efficiently to maintain a steady workflow.

Inspect incoming and outgoing packages to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Accurately pick and pack items for shipment while maintaining attention to detail.

Lift and handle packages weighing up to 45 lbs consistently during daily tasks.

Organize and scan items to maintain inventory accuracy and proper documentation.

Monitor packaging processes to ensure compliance with shipping requirements.

Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain productivity.

Manage timelines for warehouse tasks to ensure operations run smoothly.

Address issues promptly to avoid disruptions and maintain an efficient work environment.

Requirements - Proven ability to consistently lift packages weighing up to 45 lbs.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and packaging.

Experience in managing project timelines and coordinating warehouse operations.

Familiarity with scanning equipment and inventory tracking systems.

Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles is preferred.
