As a Security Officer - Warehouse Center in University Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access questions, and guest needs with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, warehouse, and/or campus areas, including building interiors, loading areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verifying credentials, assisting with directions, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.

Complete routine reports and logs, operate site systems such as radios and CCTV when assigned, and follow escalation protocols for alarms, suspicious activity, and/or property concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
