The (USA) Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC, leads and supports HVACR operations within Facilities Management by coordinating work assignments, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining equipment quality standards. What you'll do:
Lead and participate in HVACR teams, coordinating work assignments and ensuring quality and timely completion.
Oversee special projects by evaluating new technologies, identifying improvements, and correcting deficiencies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and HVACR industry regulations through inspections, repairs, and proper refrigerant handling.
Manage HVACR maintenance resources, including refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and supplier relationships.
Provide training and hands-on support to technicians, evaluating skills and promoting best practices.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVACR and Energy Management Systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Compile budget reports, submit warranty claims, and develop scopes of work for equipment replacement.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in HVACR repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including preventive maintenance and major repairs.
Thorough knowledge of EPA regulations and compliance related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, manage workloads, and provide technical guidance and training.
Strong skills in inspecting HVACR installations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Experience managing parts inventory, tracking usage, and developing supplier relationships.
Ability to compile and report budget information, conduct cost comparisons, and support financial sustainability.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: 10 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
