As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Columbus, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver strong customer service while supporting a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, directing visitors, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic in accordance with site requirements.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.

Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and/or cameras where assigned, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

CPR Certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
