Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, OR 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

*Will work at least 4 hours 1 Saturday a month.

Location: 100% Remote, must be located in EST time zone

What's a typical day as Accounts Receivable Clerk? You'll be:

Posting customer receipts in unapplied status from various sources such as store collections, lockbox, credit card, ACH/EFT, scanner, remote cash deposits, and wires.

Communicating with customers to obtain payment application details when remittance information is missing.

Researching and resolving payment application discrepancies as requested by management.

Managing short pays, debit memos, and adjustments including approved write-offs.

Adjusting store over/short cash entries and managing application of customer NSFs.

Performing all 3rd party agency cash applications and store journals.

Maintaining a cash application metrics report and managing corporate miscellaneous cash.

Reporting directly to the Financial Admin's Supervisor.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have at least 3 years of experience in cash application, accounting, and Excel.

Possess knowledge of accounting and/or collections processes.

Can perform 10-key data entry with a high degree of accuracy (10,000 keystrokes per hour).

Have call center experience (inbound and outbound) - highly preferred.

Are comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.

Are able to work remotely on Eastern Standard Time.

Are available to work at least 4 hours on one Saturday each month.
