About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to large-scale technical planning, and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business and client needs in an Agile environment.

In This Role, You Will

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large-scale planning and technology strategies

Design, code, test, debug, and document applications, including upgrades and deployments

Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Lead project delivery and act as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff

Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Ensure solutions align with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education

4+ years of hands-on experience with: Java, J2EE, Object-Oriented development. Spring Boot and microservices architecture

2+ years of UI development experience with React and JavaScript

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

Experience working in a combined onsite/offshore delivery model

Exposure to cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Hands-on experience building or integrating event-based services using technologies such as Kafka

Experience with event-driven architecture and domain-driven design

Ability to prepare detailed technical and solution design documentation

Experience working in an Agile development environment

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Expectations

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

This position offers a hybrid work schedule
