An urgent search on! A Jr. Legal Assistant is immediately needed for a highly respected Law Firm that is experiencing a lot of growth in Ft. Worth. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. You will play an important role in supporting attorneys, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Manage attorneys' calendars and ensure deadlines are met by actively monitoring schedules and following up as needed.

Prepare and maintain client engagement documentation with a high level of accuracy.

Support attorneys in civil and defense litigation processes by organizing case files and assisting with legal research.

Handle special projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.

Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of legal work and client interactions.

Communicate effectively with attorneys, secretaries, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration.

Utilize legal software tools such as WestLaw, Tax Appeal Pro, Litify, and Docrio to streamline workflows.

Assist in organizing workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet changing demands.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, for document preparation and correspondence.

Ensure the efficient management of time and resources to support legal operations.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role.

College degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Must be proactive and manage your attorney's docket effectively

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage stress effectively and perform under pressure.
