Position Overview
International's Supply Chain team is seeking Team Members interested in learning and supporting material handling activities to support production. They will ensure daily task and job functions are met to while maintaining safety and quality as top objectives.
A Team Member I is a full-time employee responsible for safely contributing to the production of, or supporting the production of, commercial trucks that deliver superior Quality and Uptime by performing tasks typically associated with assemblers, material handlers, and/or other common manufacturing roles. Team Members work as part of a workgroup or team working as one cohesive group.
STARTING HOURLY RATE IS $20.50 PER HOUR!
The International San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is a benchmark facility that builds leading-edge commercial vehicles to meet the needs of today's - and tomorrow's - customers. By using proven engineering and leading technology and manufacturing principles, International takes mobility and transport to a new level of impact. This facility has the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow International to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, International's newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality.
Our standard production schedule is 5:30am-4pm Monday through Thursday
*Supply Chain/Logistics schedules may be Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday.
Supply Chain/Logistics Team Members may perform a variety of duties including kitting, shipping, receiving, unpacking, mobile equipment operation, inventory control, and ensure parts are supplied to the production line in a timely manner.
All roles must be flexible to work overtime as needed including same day and weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Applicants must have the ability to read, speak and write English at a level that allows them to understand and communicate standard work instructions, job safety requirements and quality documentation in English
Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift):
Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl
Climb using both legs and arms
Head/neck movement
Reach outward or above the shoulder
Drive or operate equipment such as lifts and/or motor vehicles
Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
Repetitive use of hands and fingers
Use of vibrating tools
Depth perceptions required
Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color
Exposure to constant and intermittent noice, fumes, smoke and gases, solvents, paint, grease and oils, radiant energy, and slippery surfaces
In Paint dept, you may be required to wear a respirator and must comply with OSHA requirements for performing the job, including 29 CFR section 1910.134 which requires a respirator fit test, the satisfactory completion of a questionnaire and, if necessary, respiratory medical evaluation in connection with the use of a respirator
