Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Experience programming in Java or C++.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience developing and implementing tools for monitoring and managing infrastructure capacity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Design and implement horizontal infrastructures with high throughput, low latency and high quality.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to quickly test new ideas.
Resolve technical and scaling bottlenecks.
Work with multiple teams across Search (e.g., Sports, Entertainment, Discover etc.) to identify growth opportunities and build the best Notification User experience, thereby growing Search.
Learn and apply advanced techniques on load shedding, at-scale triggering and versatile fulfilling to achieve streamlined updates of critical features to Search users.
