DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Mechanic Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of automotive fleet, construction equipment, and maintenance tools. You will also supervise groundskeeping activities. This will include:
Maintaining and p roviding safe vehicles for patient and staff transportation for patient escort, pickup and delivery of meals, laundry, and mail
Overseeing campus grounds maintenance, removal and trimming of unwanted vegetation, and snow removal
Updating necessary records for automotive services, preventative maintenance, and inventory
Performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Operating cars, passenger vans, buses, pay loaders, front end loaders, backhoes, tractors, trucks, transport vehicles, and riding mowers
Recommending improvements to road paving, guard rail installation, tree removal, and general landscaping projects
Completing performance evaluation reports, writing schedules, determining work assignments, and reviewing completed work

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of journey level mechanical experience in the diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
You must be in possession of an active Pennsylvania driver's license.
