Office Assistant - 3-Month Contract

Company Overview:

A growing organization in Maple Plain is seeking a friendly and organized Office Assistant to support daily office operations. This role begins as a 3-month contract with flexible hours and is essential in keeping the office running smoothly during a period of transition.

Position Summary

The Office Assistant will serve as the face of the office-supporting visitors, new hires, and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone outgoing, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to a positive office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in customers; escort them through the office

Provide badges, welcome materials, and name tags for new hires

Maintain clean and organized office spaces

Order office supplies and manage inventory

Keep the kitchen tidy, stocked, and organized

Order lunch for meetings and coordinate catering as needed

Sort and manage mail and shared email inbox

Required Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma

Strong organization and attention to detail

Outgoing, personable, "people person"

Customer service or front desk experience preferred (not required)

Work Environment & Schedule

Approximately 15 hours per week

Some weeks may be 10 hours; others up to 20

Ideal schedule: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (lunch-hour coverage)

Mostly onsite; potential for one remote day per week

Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate

This is a Contract position based out of Maple Plain, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
