Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors and rigid conduit. This role involves threading and installing rigid conduit, both PVC coated and aluminum, and requires proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs as needed. Additionally, you will manage power distribution to machinery using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors and rigid conduit.

Thread and install rigid conduit - PVC coated and aluminum.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Manage power distribution to machinery.

Utilize hand and power tools to perform tasks.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Experience threading and installing rigid conduit.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.

Familiarity with electrical wiring, motors, and power distribution.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in an industrial and manufacturing environment.

Experience in commercial construction is beneficial.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Work Environment

This role starts at a project located in Smyrna, TN, with potential for relocation to other projects in the greater Nashville area. It is a contract-to-hire position with no set timeline, as project duration can vary. Flexibility is required for overtime and some weekend work. When projects are over 60 miles from the office or job site, a per diem is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
