Job Title: Administrative Assistant I - Office Assistant

Location: Longview, Texas

Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp to Hire)

Compensation:

$12 - $14 per hour, based on experience.

Hours: Monday:

Friday 8am to 5pm

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our client's team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and guests, providing essential support to ensure smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and manage incoming phone calls, rolling them over each morning and at the end of the day.

Greet customers, vendors, and guests at the front door with a friendly demeanor.

Contact customers to obtain necessary Purchase Orders (P.O.s) for job close-out and invoicing.

Assist in preparing job folders for invoicing and gathering documents required for job completion.

Scan all job-related documents daily and upload them into the system.

Maintain organized digital and physical job folders.

Assist with basic Job Boss 2 tasks.

Support general office filing and documentation needs.

Requirements:

Experience in an office environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Motivated to learn and understand company software, specifically JobBOSS2.

Ability to learn and follow customer or internal work instructions.

Excellent communication skills.
