What you'll do...
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally andor in writing eg customers suppliers associatesComplete work orders records logs and other written or computerbased documents according to established proceduresPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment eg lift trucks pneumatic systems material handling equipment hydraulic equipment dock equipment banana room equipment electronic and electrical equipment etc according to proceduresOperate material handling equipment battery equipment moving machinery and other powered equipmentClean and maintain grounds parking lots fencing and building facilities eg bathrooms plumbingRead and understand technical drawings eg blueprints electronicmechanical schematics to repairmaintain equipmentChange industrial batteries for all @types of power equipment including the removal and replacement of battery retention platesMaintain eg inspect clean and repair industrial equipment batteries according to procedures eg tips contacts cablesAssist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipmentTroubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious

The hourly wage range for this position is $30.45 - $33.95The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years' experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (for example, forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment) OR Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, mechatronics or other related areas of study."
Experience in blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
