Our Client, a Business/Productivity Software company, is looking for a Data Science Developer for their Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid)- Remote candidates are acceptable location. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data science models and algorithms to solve supply chain and logistics problems.

Leverage machine learning techniques (e.g., XGBoost, KNN, regression models) to enhance ETA predictions, anomaly detection, and route optimization.

Work with large, complex datasets in platforms such as Databricks, using Python, R, and SQL to clean, transform, and analyze data.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to integrate models into production environments.

Use Kanban methodology in Agile teams to track and deliver sprint-based objectives.

Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Continuously evaluate and tune models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements:

Approx 2-4 years' experience

Soft skills are extremely important for this role.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, high learning agility, and strong Python capabilities

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI, they serve major enterprise clients across automotive, manufacturing, and logistics industries.

We are seeking a Data Science Developer to join our growing analytics and technology team. This role bridges the gap between advanced data science and real-world supply chain applications, building intelligent solutions that enhance Client, improve ETA predictions, and optimize logistics operations.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience applying data science or machine learning in a supply chain or logistics @context.

Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.

Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., XGBoost, scikit-learn).

Proficient in Databricks or similar big data platforms.

Familiarity with Agile development and Kanban project management.

Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics networks, and real-time data challenges is a strong plus.

Passion for growth, collaboration, and someone who loves data science.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating a product that is in production.
