Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in accounting processes and compliance standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting audits.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and compliant.

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

Coordinate and support external and internal audit processes, providing necessary documentation and insights.

Manage account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Review and approve journal entries to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial records.

Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in financial reporting.

Train and mentor entry-level accounting staff to support their growth and development. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting and financial management, including leading month-end close processes.

Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and reconciliation procedures.

Familiarity with preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.

Experience in managing financial audits and providing relevant documentation.

Proficiency in creating and reviewing journal entries to maintain data accuracy.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate effectively.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
