Sodexo is seeking a temporary Environmental Services Operations Manager for a full time role at Community Medical Center, in Toms River, NJ. This is a 617 bed acute care hospital, managing a team of 89 client paid staff.A vibrant waterfront community, Toms River offers a wide variety of recreational activities and is 1.5 hours from Philadelphia. This custodial manager will oversee Day Shift and as business needs dictate, some rotating holidays may be required.

We're looking for someone with a hospitality mindset; with strong customer and employee engagement experience that comes from a healthcare, hotels, custodial, or corporate housekeeping background. What You'll Do

be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;

provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;

lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;

effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or

support an inclusive workforce.

What You Bring

have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team;

have customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality;

possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program;

have experience effectively managing floor care projects within agreed upon timelines;

are results and safety driven;

are proficient with computers and other technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
