Your Role at KIK
KIK's Household division is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Operations Excellence to drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within and between our plant sites. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional project teams to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency, while reducing cost across our North American manufacturing footprint. The Senior Project Manager OPEX will be adept at assembling data into a presentable format, eliminating roadblocks, driving results, and producing quality work.
What You'll Do
Drive disciplined execution of the Operations Transformation cadence
Lead and maintain the weekly operational transformation cadence to ensure disciplined execution across initiatives.
Ensure timely preparation of materials for weekly workstream meetings, SIOP and Business Unit leadership meetings, ELT monthly reviews, and other transformation governance forums.
Create and manage initiative pipelines, proactively identifying and removing roadblocks to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
Gain and leverage deep organizational knowledge and resourcefulness to develop and implement sustainable operational solutions.
Manage and support Workstream Leaders and Initiative Owners to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Facilitate status meetings, including coordinating logistics, maintaining project plans, and updating progress reporting.
Partner with initiative owners to develop mitigation plans that address risks and resolve issues impacting delivery.
Provide transparency through project and data visualization tools
Utilize the Maestro project management platform to track initiative progress across all stages of execution.
Develop subject matter expertise in Maestro and train project teams on effective system use for both project and daily operational management.
Partner with the Manager, Operations Analytics to define reporting requirements and develop dashboards (QLIK, Power BI etc.) and reports that provide actionable insights.
Provide guidance, oversight, and coaching to the Operations Analytics Manager to ensure high-quality analytics and reporting output.
Develop annual operational improvement plans
Conduct Pareto analysis of plant downtime and root causes to identify capital investment opportunities for the following year.
Identify and document operational challenges from the current year and develop countermeasures to inform next year's operational planning.
Integrate project and program learnings into daily and monthly Household Business Unit operating processes and management cadence.
Partner with senior leadership to address strategic operational challenges
Serve as the primary point of contact for Workstream Leaders requiring support to advance key initiatives.
Apply a constructive "challenger" mindset to align stakeholders, remove barriers, and coordinate solutions with business unit leadership, functional capabilities, plant teams, and workstream leaders.
Develop executive-ready materials for Steering Committee meetings and other leadership forums in collaboration with the VP of Supply Chain and senior executives.
Capture, track, and ensure completion of action items from Steering Committee and Household leadership team reviews.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree and or Project management certification preferred
Experience in manufacturing, planning, and capital management projects
Strong organization, interpersonal and presentation skills, and a history of success supporting complex projects
Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing consulting experience preferred
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or related certifications preferred
Experience in equipment/ maintenance projects preferred
Must be willing to travel 25%
