Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team and contribute to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced in welding heavy structural steel components and proficient in MIG welding techniques. You will work closely with fitters and fabricators to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on mild and heavy structural steel.

Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.

Weld heavy structural steel components used in various projects.

Utilize wire-fab guns, torches, grinders, and magnetic drills effectively.

Collaborate with fitters and fabricators to ensure quality workmanship.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding on heavy plates.

Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.

3+ years of structural welding experience.

Skill in operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or rigging equipment.

Capability to fit, align, and weld structural components like beams, columns, bracing, and connection assemblies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with fabrication and fitting.

Knowledge of structural steel processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
