Job Description

The production support role involves a variety of tasks to support the production process. The role includes responsibilities such as operating forklifts and cranes, unloading and loading trucks, and performing assembly work. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the shop production manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations, supporting the overall production process to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and cranes efficiently.

Unload and load trucks safely.

Perform assembly work as required.

Engage in shipping and receiving duties when necessary.

Collaborate with the shop production manager and team members for smooth operations.

Essential Skills

Production support experience.

Proficiency in shipping and receiving.

General labor skills with a mechanical aptitude.

Ability to operate a forklift.

Competence in using a tape measure.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
