Primary Job Duties

This Full-Time role serves as part of a support office team, and as a Training Coordinator in our Pilot Training Department, you will work in a logistical environment full of variety and time-sensitive deadlines that require critical thinking and multi-tasking skills. The result is a rewarding opportunity to schedule and support instructors and the pilot new hire sfor their routine training process, while learning many different facets of the SkyWest operation.

Pay rate is $19.29 per hour, with potential growth based on performance and skill level demonstrated

Training Coordinator sare responsible for arranging all aspects of the training phases of our pilots.? This process is complex, and your knowledge will build as different areas are introduced and assigned.

Multiple Software platforms/windows are open and used throughout the day

Build schedules for tracking

Classroom

Training Devices

Simulators

Track progress and reschedule classes/students/sessions as needed

Verify instructor qualifications for scheduled sessions

Make necessary travel/lodging arrangements

Schedule, coordinate, and pre-assign other training related assignments as necessary.

Maintain excellent communication withInstructors, Pilot Records, Flight Operations Managers and Supervisors.

Maintain knowledge of all department, company, and FAA policies

Maintain reports as necessary in Excel and other programs.

Minimum Requirements

Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams

Strong data entry and computer skills

Exceptional customer service skills, written and verbal

Collaborate and communicate effectively

Some flexibility in schedule to assist and work overtime to meet deadlines

Work multiple tasks while maintaining focus and detail

Self-starter and motivated team player

Critical thinking skills for adapting to changing environments and processes

Maintain a productive work environment, remaining courteous and professional at all times

Physical and Other Requirements

Full-Time Schedule is Monday - Friday, and an eight hour shift will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM in accordance with operational needs, and the position may require working holidays

This is not a remote position. This position is located at our training facility in Denver, CO , and candidates must reside near, or relocate to, the Denver metro area

Moderate noise function (business office with computers, printers, light traffic, and group cubicle setting)

Sitting for extended periods in front of a computer and on the phone

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Position is not a Department of Transportation Safety Sensitive position

Pay rate meets minimum wage requirements for the City of Denver
