As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and provide strong customer service and communication to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening as directed by post orders, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or controlling entry and exit.

Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or onsite client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
