Outside Service - Giants Ridge

Compensation Amount: 15.00 USD Hourly Job Summary: The Outside Services Staff provides golf bag, golf cart, and driving range assistance to guests of the property. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains a professional appearance. Brings carts from the cart shelter to the cart staging area outside golf shop. Greets guests at designated bag drop area, loads bags on to carts, and unloads while cleaning clubs. Gives directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc. Transports range balls to driving range and fills appropriate containers. Operates range picker on range to retrieve balls. Washes all range balls daily. Returns carts to cart shelter and washes carts, parks carts in designated spaces and connects charger cables. Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management. Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. Must be highly motivated, goal driven, and a self-starter. Must have a good work ethic. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public. Must be dependable. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Must have valid driver's license (if driving golf carts or driving range equipment). PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands. The employee is often required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally. The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception. Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards. Exposure to pollens and dust. Noise level is moderately quiet. Ability to work extended hour during golf and holiday season. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
