The Financial Accounts Technician is responsible for providing financial technical support for activities in support of international clinical trials. Specialized Experience (GS-06): You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (i.e., GS-05). Qualifying examples of specialized experience would typically include but are not limited to: applying accounting and budget processes to reconcile and resolve financial discrepancies; performing arithmetic and financial calculations for transactions, budgeting, and reporting; responding to inquiries from customers, vendors, and staff in both written and oral forms; and utilizing office automation software and accounting systems to maintain records, update documents, and streamline workflow.
