Job Description Summary
The US Electric Power Materials Leader is responsible for leading end-to-end materials planning and execution to support business objectives, with a primary focus on strengthening the Sale and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, optimizing inventory, and enabling business unit transformation plans. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Program teams to ensure material availability, mitigate risk, and drive sustained improvements in service, cost, and working capital.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
2nd line manager with senior professional direct reports. Ability to attract and retain talent. Manage medium to large teams. Develop expertise in own function. May include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. Able to influence policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interact with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Sales and Operations Planning ( S&OP ) and/or Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning ( SIOP ) process.

The base pay range for this position is $159,000 - $212,000 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 3, 2026. This salary range only applies to employees hired to live and work in the position within the US.
