Job Purpose: Manage all facets of the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and other various engineering documentation processes. Essential Job Functions: Develop, document, train, implement, and maintain control systems to store and maintain engineering CAD drawings and data for Oracle ERP system. Coordinate ECO process to ensure accuracy and timely approval. Develop and maintain tracking reports of active ECO's to determine real-time status. Lead weekly meetings to communicate and track ECO progress. Perform ongoing analysis of policies and procedures pertaining to ECO's and documentation. Counsel design and manufacturing groups on related matters as necessary. Manage the documentation control aspects of Engineering Department. Act as a training resource for the department. Create and maintain work instructions to aid in the manufacture of Life Fitness products. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Needed: Required High School Diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience training diverse groups Strong analytical and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite Preferred Associate degree in Business (or related field) Working knowledge of documentation control in manufacturing environment Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Working Conditions: This role would be a combination of shop floor and office environment. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $66,500 - $95,000 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Owatonna, MN and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's Production Bonus Plan, which offers the potential to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
