Job Duties Location is CFS trade territory - any location

Position Objective: In this job, the team member will pick up and deliver commodities and products in a manner that will optimize efficiencies and result in outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver product to and pick up product from specified locations

Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and submitted to your supervisor in a timely manner

Ensure pickup/deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations

Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores

Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor

Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times

Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.

Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Minimum Education Required High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience Required Licensing, Certification and Qualification:

Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification

Be able to obtain endorsements to the CDL as necessary

Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines

One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
