Main Purpose: The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure the efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing production data, and optimizing processes to meet production goals while minimizing costs.

Key Working Relationships (internal/external):

Production and Warehouse Shift Leadership Teams

Plant Quality and Engineering Team across multiple sites

Members of Supply Chain Planning Sub Cluster including, Operational Planning, E2E Network Management team and Supply Planning & Change Management

MSAT and Project Teams

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints

Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency

Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components

Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement

Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency, and inventory levels for management review

Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products up and down the value chain

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align production plans with business objectives

Responsible for and maintains SAP planning parameters and master data

Skills & Qualifications:

BA/BS required in related field (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, Information Technology)

5+ years of total experience including minimum of 2 years" experience in a Product Supply discipline

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders effectively

Ability to build relationships and influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance

Demonstrated problem solving abilities and analytical skills

Manages complexity in production planning process at 24/7 manufacturing site

Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure timely delivery of deliverables

Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Experience with SAP and MRP systems
