Position classification
Hybrid -- Job duties and expectations allow for onsite and remote work scheduled every week. Employees in this classification are regularly scheduled onsite one (1) to four (4) days per week based on the County needs and as determined by Department Director. Hybrid classified roles can be onsite more than the set minimum based on employee preference.

This role provides advanced business services and administrative support to six service areas with a focus on Code Compliance and Animal Management, within the Community Safety and Well-being department. As an integral member of a cohesive, high-performing team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and administrative expertise that contribute to the department's goals and objectives. Reporting to the Administrative Supervisor, responsibilities include scheduling, customer relations, expense management, purchasing, web updates and tracking, i.e., attention to detail, using initiative, and follow up.
Anticipated Hiring Range = $29.577 - $34.014 / Full Salary Range of position = $29.577 - $41.408
Examples of Duties for Success
Perform general administrative duties to support departmental goals and objectives.
Attend meetings, capture notes and action items, distribute minutes, and contribute to discussions.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email and SeeClickFix to assist in resolving constituent concerns.
Research policies, statutes, ordinances, guidelines, and administrative rules relevant to the department and County.
Maintain contact lists and manage supply inventory.
Assist with meeting facilitation, training sessions, and formal presentations.
Coordinate meeting rooms, shared spaces, and resources.
Manage records in compliance with the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA).
Draft formal memos, correspondence, and documents.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive matters and information.
Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
Perform other related duties as required.

More Qualifications for Success
Experience:
Three (3) years of responsible business services or administrative support experience involving complex and varied tasks.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, supplemented by relevant training and/or course work.
College-level coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
License or Certificate:
Notary (or willingness to obtain notary certification within 30 days of hire)
Language:
Spanish proficiency is desirable.
