How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

This individual will report to the VP of TechOps Planning, Technology & Material Operations and responsible for performing advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties. The candidate will work closely with Delta leaders and others as deemed necessary. This position requires broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of Delta's programs, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates strong multitasking abilities and excels inmanaging multiple high-priority projects within tight deadlines.

Highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at supporting adiverse office environment with a wide range of administrative needs.

Manages filing, documentation, database maintenance, andprepares invoices, reports, presentations, memos, letters, and other materialsusing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Effectively coordinates and maintains multiple calendars,schedules meetings, and oversees high-volume travel arrangements, includingdetailed itineraries and related logistics.

Greeting visitors, receiving telephone calls, interacting with Deltaleaders and their staffs, working on travel and ticket issues, and preparingresponses to correspondence containing routine and sometimes complex inquiriesare typical tasks associated with the position.

The ability to interact with the office staff (at all levels) with afocus on team cohesion.

Ability to pivot to different projects with ease, proactive,resourceful, and succeed efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Act with a high level of professionalism andconfidentiality.

Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strongdecision-making ability and attention to detail are equally meaningful.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

High School Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.

3 plus yearsof relevant experience.

2 years formaltraining may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.

Requiresadvanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in Windows-basedapplications like Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Must beteam-oriented and able to coordinate activities across multiple departmentsworking closely with administrative assistants in other areas.

Must have theinterpersonal skills necessary to direct the activities of others.

High level ofconfidentiality.

Detail skills are needed to ensureinformation is accurate and correct, documents are grammatically correct, andwork is completed promptly.

Ability tocoordinate the schedules of multiple aspects of projects completed by separatestaff members or vendors is required.

Organizational/leadershipskills necessary to develop office procedures, prioritize and schedule workactivities of self and others and balance multiple assignments with limiteddirection.

Knowledge ofcorporate business processes and procedures such as expense reporting,purchasing, and departmental budget.

Embracesdiverse people, thinking and styles.

Consistentlymakes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

Must be performing satisfactorily in currentposition.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Bachelor'sdegree.

Knowledge of Delta travel platforms including Delta.com, TravelNet and/or DeltaTerm.

Previous Administrative Assistant experience.
