Job Title: Project Accounting ConsultantJob Description

The Project Accounting team is transitioning to a new ERP system and requires temporary administrative resources to support invoicing preparation and documentation. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing by managing timesheet and expense backup from legacy systems, organizing supporting documentation, and adhering to client-specific invoice requirements. Quick onboarding is crucial to alleviate the current team workload.

Responsibilities

Retrieve timesheet and expense backup documentation from the legacy system.

Support the first invoicing cycle by organizing and validating supporting documentation.

Pull detailed hour data as needed, export to Excel, and create pivot tables for attachment to invoices.

Assist with the creation and standardization of invoicing templates.

Support client-specific invoicing requirements, ensuring adherence to specific formats.

Merge documents, manage PDFs, and ensure all backup is complete and audit-ready.

Follow documented procedures and step-by-step instructions accurately in a high-volume environment.

Essential Skills

Experience in invoicing, ERP systems, and accounting processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, grouping and sorting data, subtotaling, and VLOOKUP.

Ability to work with PDFs and Adobe tools.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

Organizational and documentation skills.

Capability to perform repetitive, manual tasks with high accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience supporting invoicing or billing processes at an administrative or project accounting support level.

Experience utilizing ERP accounting software.

Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training.

Work Environment

This position is remote, operating on EST hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must have their own laptop/computer to authenticate via two-factor authentication, with Oracle Cloud machine access provided. Priority will be given to candidates with their own equipment to facilitate faster start times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Boca Raton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
