JOB REQUIREMENTS: The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures
and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for
growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members
to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a
Flatbed Truck Driverfor County Materials Corporation in Marathon, WI.
About the position: Competitive hourly pay. Majority of freight hauled
is for our company, minimal wait time. Home every night. Training in
flatbed procedures and oversized loads available. Job Duties:
Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients. Perform
pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment,
including securement devices. Properly secure load prior to transport
following DOT regulations. Operate tractor trailer combinations.
Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing
proper PPE. Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.
Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.
Receive work assignments and report back on job completion. Use
consistent communicate with dispatch. Maintain customer relations by
acting in a professional, courteous manner. Work Environment: Work in
outdoor weather conditions. Work near moving machinery and equipment
Work alongside moving traffic on roads. Physical Requirements: Sitting.
Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds. Standing / Walking / Climbing.
Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending. Pushing / Pulling / Reaching
Above Shoulder. Experience & Qualifications: Must hold a valid Class A
CDL prior to hire. Minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experience
required. Oversize experience a plus but not required; will train.
