Job Title: Construction ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to join our team and support our Buildings & Environments domain. This full-time position is based in Northern Virginia and involves working exclusively on federal projects, predominantly dining and facilities work on various military bases. The role requires at least 25% travel, with all expenses covered.

Responsibilities

Manage the general contractor and report to the End Client, ensuring effective communication.

Oversee interior fit-out construction, handling reports, punch lists, and close-out activities.

Strongly enforce compliance with federal, DoD, and OSHA regulations, running a culture of safety on sites.

Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits.

Collaborate with General Contractors, quality control managers, and inspectors.

Essential Skills

7+ years of Construction Management experience, specifically in the federal space.

Experience managing at least 3-5 interior renovation projects in the federal space concurrently.

Proficiency in Procor for scheduling and general technological proficiency.

Proven team leadership, project scheduling, and field coordination skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Secret clearance.

OSHA 30 certification.

Strong client engagement skills and a team player mentality.

Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite at multiple jobs at Fort Belvoir and may require short out-of-state travel. The office is located in Fairfax, VA. The work environment is centered around maintaining high safety standards and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
