Job Title:Supply Chain Specialist-Tolling and Trade Goods

The Supply Chain Specialist reports to the Trade Goods Sourcing Manager.
Job dimensions
The Supply Chain Specialist - Tolling and Trade Goods supports the Supply Chain function by establishing, managing, and optimizing procurement work processes for toll manufacturing, contract manufacturing, third party trade goods, and intercompany purchases. The position is responsible for SAP data management and flow setup, monitoring supplier performance and KPIs, investigating and resolving price variances, and supporting various aspects of the trade goods procurement process.
Key Activities and responsibilities
Support Supply Chain Operations for Adhesive Solutions tolled products and trade goods procurement, including: (60%)
Maintain accurate cost standards in SAP
Responsible for material and vendor master data integrity related to tolling and trade goods: creation / change / obsoleting requests
Maintain contracts and outline agreements in contract manufacturing systems and SAP while ensuring compliance with internal policies
Validate and process vendor invoices
Coordinate with Adhesive Solutions supply chain and vendor to ensure forecast requirements are communicated and short and long term capacity is available to meet those requirements.
Ensure accurate inventory levels at the vendor, coordinating with Adhesive Solutions supply chain team and vendor
Support supply chain team in resolving issues with tolling and trade good POs
Perform data analysis to support optimization of toller performance and toller strategy
Provide cost analysis reporting
Take an active role in short/mid-term Supply Chain projects and complete assigned tasks
Track and coordinate with HES on ongoing periodic audits and reviews of current active tollers
Support the identification and qualification of new tollers, contract manufacturers, and trade good vendors (20%)
Support analysis of make vs. buy decisions to compare internal Arkema manufacturing capabilities to third party options
Support projects to identify new vendors to meet business requirements and support onboarding of new vendors
Coordinate process to ensure vendors meet Arkema standards related to safety and risk management
Ensure supply chain flows are set up for new products/vendors and maintain those SAP flows
Support contract negotiations and establishment of vendor agreements
Support the scale-up and commercialization of new products
Support performance management and continuous improvement of existing tollers, contract manufacturers, and trade good vendors: (20%)
Manage supplier relationships including issue management and supplier development
Maintain and communicate performance metrics for suppliers ensuring at least quarterly scorecard reviews
Identify and support continuous improvement efforts (cost, quality, service, etc.)
Collaborate with customer service to manage the customer complaint process related to tolling services and trade goods, up to and including resolution
Coordinate and participate in customer audits as required
Assist in the implementation of processes and tools for improved inter-region activities as designated by the Supply Chain leadership
Support optimization of vendor base include tail spend reduction and vendor consolidations
Context and environment
This position is based in Radnor PA or Wauwatosa, WI. Less than 10% travel is expected
This position is a focal point for the business and manufacturing, and works as a liaison between Global Supply Chain, Business Managers, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, Third Party terminals, warehouses, suppliers, competitors and carriers, etc. to optimize the regional supply chain
This position leads necessary activities to ensure the operating plans can be executed and meet the commercial demands, and lead activities to resolve problems that do occur
Supports HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc.(e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
Required Education/Qualifications /Work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Technical field
5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customer Service
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills)
SAP required including MM/PP, SD and F&P and across global ERP platforms
Experience in SC Optimization Systems and system integrations
Proficient in Power BI Dashboards
APICS Certification a plus
Project Management experience preferred
