Position Overview:

We areseekinga highly skilledSenior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development,and integration of shipboard mechanical systems andhardwarefor U.S. Navy platforms.This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a mission driven environment, understands the rigor of naval designstandards,and can guide complex mechanical solutions from concept through fleet deployment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the design and analysis of shipboard mechanical hardware including enclosure, cooling systems, shock isolated assemblies, and equipment racks.Develop 3D models, perform engineering calculations, toleranceanalysisand material selections to ensure performance in harsh maritime environments including Mil-DTL-901E and Mil-STD-810.Coordinate mechanicalinterfaceswith electrical, structural, and systems engineering teams

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineeringor related discipline

10yearsof mechanical design experience withat least3 yearssupporting US Navy hardware

Strong SolidWorks CAD Design skills

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

PreferredQualifications

Strong SolidWorks Finite Element Analysis skills

Experience with shipboard installationdesign,ship checks, and shipyardcoordination

Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing techniques

Pay Range:

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
